Commercial Description:
Is it really safe to paddle out in our waters? It’s impossible to know for sure. What we do know is that this is an incredibly distinctive and bold American red ale that attacks your taste buds with lethal amounts of hops, which are balanced by a boat load of Crystal malt. If none of this fazes you, then maybe swimming in the shark filled waters is exactly where you belong. We’ll see you in the lineup!

Wonderful dried fruit and rye bread aromas. Rich and hoppy. Very thick reddish brown body with tan head. Flavors are much like aroma, strong cider, coffee, dried figs, wood bark, and rye bread. Some caramel and honey. Slight cheesiness. Bitter long duration. Palate is thick and creamy. Strong flavors that do not dissapoint. Great beer.

Bottle.Reddish as expected. Taste explodes in a very unsubtle manner. The impact is immediate with hops and caramels bouncing all over your mouth. There is some bitterness but the overall impression of this beer is simply wow!

Big thanks to MrHanky for sending this growler my way. Pours transparent red with a loose, creamy off-white head. Nose is caramel, pine sap, and lots of bold hops. Flavor is caramel, pine, and malt galore. Huge backbone to this beer. They call it an amber- it is one of the best ambers I have had.

Bottle (65 cl) from Ölbutikken, Copenhagen, Denmark. Hazy mahogny, medium beige head. Malty and hoppy aroma, with notes of caramell, dried fruits, pine needles, and citrus. Meidum bodied and smooth. Dry with a bit salty and metallic bitterness.
