Pours out a dark red color without much of a head, then out of no where it kind of gets a nice tan little head on it. Smell is full of hops, caramel, malts, sugars, grass, and a touch of citrus. Taste is similar, but it has alot of hops - very Pizza Port like, smooth yet brutal but that is what makes it good. Not as bitter as I thought it would be, but it is plenty bitter to satisfy hop heads. Really good stuff, and actually my glass went so quick, I had no idea what happened. axilla (962), New Providence, Pennsylvania, USA

The aroma is quite earthy with notes of piney/peppery hops dominating. The flavor is bitter orange/grapefruit peel, juicy pine needles, sourdough pretzel, and a subtle chedder cheese flavor buried in there. Saarlander (1589), Rancho Cucamonga, California, USA
