> An East Coast style pinecone hop bomb featuring fresh oranges, maple
[ Tap ][ Pizza Port Solana ][ 4oz ][ Mini Stange ][ $1.50 ][ 2/18/14 ]
>> Clear deep amber red pour. Nice tan foam with great lacing. Nose is maple glaze, fresh oranges. In taste: rich maple with decent piney and nutty Sierra Nevada Celebration style hop bite that isn’t too aggressive or astringent like many imperial red IPAs. Instead the palate is fairly juicy, spicy. Not too boozy, powerfully hoppy but not astringent. Would be too much for a full pour I’m afraid but definitely makes good of a usually hated style on my part.
<!> full pint pour of this would put me on the floor
