COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Signature beer. Brewed to the same recipe in all locations. A very robust Red ale made with Centennial and Cascade hops which lend a spicy finish to the beer. We have brewed more Sharkbite Red ale than any other beer on our menu. Alcohol Varies.

A clear red/brown colored beer, with a light beige head. The aroma of red fruits, some caramel and hop. The taste of sweet fruits, with strong bitter hops. The aftertaste has sweets moving to dry bitter.

Shark Bite Red OB. Tap at PP. Clear medium red with brownish highlights and a one finger creamy beige head, good retention. Pine hop nose with plenty of dry scorched toffee notes, light caramel Flavor follows, lots of pine and toffee. Very dry, minimal sweetness. Bitterness peaked at a 5-6. Moderate smooth carbonation with a medium body. As far as strong hoppy reds go, this is good. Just not my thing. 7-4-7-4-13--3.5

12oz bottle, no date. Pours a clear ruby brown with a 1/2 finger yellow beige head. Aroma is of buttery malts, citrusy hops, some caramel--a bit like Lake Louie Kiss the Lips IPA. Taste is again buttery with some moderate bitterness at best. There is some caramel and a minimal amount of roasted malts. Light to medium bodied, light to moderate carbonation, yet smooth. I can see how this is their signature beer--quite a bit of flavor compared to a Budweiser, but still quite inoffensive.

Draught. (I’m a bit confused as to which Shark Bite entry I shall rate, but this seems to be the one with the correct ABV.) Pours a clear, lustrous, deep copper, with a white head. Very hoppy, spicy aroma, spruce, herbs, malt, caramel, resin, apricot, faintly smoky, toffee. Dry, full bodied, high bitterness, balanced CO2. Hoppy, spicy taste, apricot, spruce, resin, malt, caramel, toffee, earth, chocolate, pine. Fruity, a bit rustique (nicely so!), ends quite dry. (2012-07-04)

Keg at the Craft. Clear amber beer, little pale tan head. Light palate, a little crisp. Nice minerals. A little creamy malt with cream and toffee. Mild hops - mellow pine. Smooth finish. Not bad, liked it, but really light on hops.
