COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Signature beer. Brewed to the same recipe in all locations. A very robust Red ale made with Centennial and Cascade hops which lend a spicy finish to the beer. We have brewed more Sharkbite Red ale than any other beer on our menu. Alcohol Varies.

Draught. (I’m a bit confused as to which Shark Bite entry I shall rate, but this seems to be the one with the correct ABV.) Pours a clear, lustrous, deep copper, with a white head. Very hoppy, spicy aroma, spruce, herbs, malt, caramel, resin, apricot, faintly smoky, toffee. Dry, full bodied, high bitterness, balanced CO2. Hoppy, spicy taste, apricot, spruce, resin, malt, caramel, toffee, earth, chocolate, pine. Fruity, a bit rustique (nicely so!), ends quite dry. (2012-07-04)

Keg at the Craft. Clear amber beer, little pale tan head. Light palate, a little crisp. Nice minerals. A little creamy malt with cream and toffee. Mild hops - mellow pine. Smooth finish. Not bad, liked it, but really light on hops.

Draught. Dark amber with a thick, creamy beige head leaving lacing. Aroma: caramel, red candy, earthy. Taste: caramel, rubbery candy, fruity, buttery notes like perhaps butterscotch, earthy, high bitterness with grapefruit. Medium-bodied. Nice stuff, but I guess I had expected more of a fresh hoppiness.

_angst_ (3029) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUN 26, 2012
Draught @ The Rover. Pours clear deep amber with a rather small creamy offwhite head that slowly dissipates while leaving some thick lacing on the glass. Smell is sweet and hoppy fresh with caramel, orange peal, grass, pine, sweet dark bread, lemon zest, resinous wood and very subtle hints of vanilla and brown sugar. Taste is sweet and bitter with caramel, plums, orange peal, freshly cut grass, dark grapes, resinous wood, straw, toffee and pine. Mouthfeel is round, oily bitter and light to medium bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with resinous wood, pine, orange peal, fresh grass and hints of caramel and toffee. Usually not a big fan of amber ale but this is very nice.

Trevlig örtig och jordig humledoft. Smaken är humlerik och med samma jordiga och maltiga smak. Fin fyllighet och god balans. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
