Tap at Carlsbad. Distinctively sour taste sets it apart from other reds, but I found this to be too watery. Thin, but hoppy finish.

Sep 23, 2008 Smell is malts, caramel, some hops, and not much else. Look is a red color and very clear. Not much of its beige colored head. Taste is caramel, malts, and hops.

Aug 18, 2008 Draft @ Lost Abbey. Amber color with off white head. Aroma of malt and nuts. Thin mouthfeel. Just OK.

Aug 16, 2008 RBSG 2008. Pours a nice red/copper with a soft off-white head. Lots of warm caramel flavors up front that balance well against the crisp citrus hop finish. Very nice all-around drinker.
