Tap @ Solana. dark amber/red. This beer was the best on the sample tray. It had a nice hoppy, spicey and malty aroma, it was med bodied and the flavor was hoppy, malt was creamy smooth, and had a pleasantly fresh spiciness. Moderately complex, Very good.

Sep 9, 2008 Hmm, the beer we tried was called Shark Bite Imperial Red Ale... Not sure if that’s the same beer or not, but it was tasty! Loads of malt to balance out the incredible amount of hop presence. This one is thick and syrupy, like liquid gold. Smooth and very mellow in spite of how big this beer is. Very nice.

Aug 20, 2007 Clear, deep red with a short off-white head. Hoppy, citrus aroma. Good pine and resin qualities as well, with very little malt. More flavor that the Shark Bite, but still nicely balanced. Grapefruit, oranges, wood, malt, and a little caramel.

Sep 10, 2006 On tap. Clear dark brown and reddish in coloured with a small head. Both malty and hoppy. Starting sweet and finishing bitter.

Jul 30, 2006 Bottled, snagged from BevMo. Good tasting brew, hangs somewhere between a good Red and a good single IPA. More malty and smoother than a full IPA, but a little complex in flavor like and IPA.
I have only been to the PizzaPort site once, and I am way overdue for libations down that way...

May 7, 2006 Hazy red amber, lasting off white head.Hop nose. Tart fruity hop taste with lasting finish.Good body.
