Pitch black color. Bakers chocolate, fairly roasty rich nose. Medium body, lots of chocolate, but as Jonno said while drinking this, much better Stout than Imp stout. Well made but doesn’t really go anywhere. Not bad.

Draft at PP Carlsbad. Dark brown almost black pour, with a tannish head. Heavy chocolate flavor, roast, coffee, molasses, cocoa, and quite sweet. A decent stout, but wouldn’t want to drink large quantity of this.

Draft at PPC. Pours with a near black hued body with a lasting tan head. Aromas are fudgy, cocoa, nutty, earthy, toasty malt, vanilla and light coffee. Very toasty aromas. FLavors are toasty, nutty, earthy, leather with some deep rich chocolate notes. Creamy, toasty, medium roasty, fuller bodied with lingering notes of brown sugar.

On tap at brewery. Black with a creamy tan head. Faint malty chocolate aroma. Smooth full bodied palate. Tastes of chocolate up front and a bitter sweet roasted grain flavor on the back end.

Black in color with a tan head. Chocolate, cocoa, and roasted malt on the nose. Some licorice, mild alcohol, molasses, and some dark fruits. The flavor is nicely sweet and balanced. Really nice dark chocolate character. Some cacao, plenty of roast, and some coffee. A bit of molasses, dark fruit sweetness, and burnt sugar.
