Draft. Amber beer with an off-white head. Malty, yeasty aroma. Malt and yeast flavor with light dark fruit and light spice. Medium-plus bodied. Malt, yeast, spice, land ight fruitiness lingers. A bit too smooth.

On tap at the 10th Annual San Diego Strong Ale Festival: Pours a clear copper bronze with a large, frothy, well-lacing white head. Aroma of lightly sweet, toasty Belgian caramel malt and peppery yeasty notes. Starts sweet, bready and toasty with some light clove and banana character toward an authentic, complex, drier finish. A well-balanced and drinkable Belgian strong ale.

Tap @ Solana. Pours Amber orange with a thin tan ring. It has a light candied yeasty nose. Taste is a bit hoppy and slightly malty and pretty even keeled. Not a bad brew overall. Now knowing the alc content, it is well hidden.
