GABF 2007. A brown beer with a red shine under a thin orangey head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of over ripe fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of vanilla and roasted malt, as well as lighter notes of coffee, leading to a dry bitter finish.

Dark brown. Aroma is a little smoky with light coffee notes and some creamy chocolateyness. Sweet, almost creamy body with late coffee notes and a hint of nuts.

Draught at GABF 2008. Black coloured with a small beige head. Roasted aroma of coffee, hops and pine needles. Roasted flavour of liquorice, coffee, hops and pine needles. Roasted and hoppy finish.

On tap at the 2007 GABF: Barely transparent dark mahogany with a frothy dark tan head. Aroma of fresh citrusy American hops with nice sweet dark chocolate notes. Body starts with a nice chocolate caramel sweetness drying out toward a more bitter earthy finish. A good sweet stout.
