Aug 10, 2007 On cask at O’Brien’s. Very roasty aromas with some chocolate of this very dark beer. Cask made the bubbles very tight and creamy. More chocolate and roasty toasty flavors too. Pretty tasty.

Oct 2, 2006 GABF 2006. The beer pours to a pitch black body with a brown head. The aroma is dry and roasty semi-sweet chocolate chips. The flavor is rich and sweet chocolate and noticeable barley. Rich creamy palate.

Oct 26, 2006 GABF 2006: Very dark ruby amber color with a tan head. Sweet roasted malt aroma with nice notes of chocolate and coffee. Sweet flavor with a good amount of chocolate and roasted malt. Medium bodied.
