thegreat78 (32), San Marcos, California, USA Jan 9, 2008 A nice copper coloured ale with a small white head. Very grapefruit citrus aroma and some pine notes. Very bitter initially but expected in an IPA nice crisp finish Great brew. MilkmanDan (1936), Eagan, Minnesota, USA Jan 29, 2004 Deep hazy auburn, had a nice head. Crisp, very hoppy and sweet, had actual malts for balance, decent breadiness at end. Tart, citric, and piney. unclebleen (620), California, USA Sep 29, 2003 Updated: Oct 6, 2003I agree with SDbruboy...I'm surprised there so few ratings for this excellent, long-running brew from Pizza Port. One of my favorite IPA's. Fits the category of "West Coast IPA" perfectly. Very hoppy aroma, full body, and a nice bitter finish. I have a pint of this just about every week. Schultsc (394), Henderson, Nevada, USA Jun 23, 2005 Updated: Aug 6, 2005Bright copper color with a thin head. Strong aroma of pine with an herbaceous, sweet, and pleasantly "skunky" edge to it. Very nice citrus and resin in the flavor with loads of bitterness. Thick mouthfeel that still manages to be crisp too. Quite a different beer--very good. egajdzis (2879), Terrapin, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 31, 2004 Poured an amber color with nice white head and lacing as well. Bitter hop, piny, resiny taste with a sticky but full mouthfeel. This could easily pass for an IIPA.
