shigadeyo (1500), Southwest Ohio Area, Alabama, USA Nov 19, 2008 7/28/2007: Pizza Port Swami’s IPA has a very sugary aroma. The appearance is unfiltered/cloudy and amber in color. It has a sugary caramel maltiness with LOTS of citrus bitterness in the flavor. Medium to medium-full body. This is a pretty big beer that is good, but a bit disappointing. I was hoping for more complexity or something else considering this is a Pizza Port offering.
