COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"It’s hard to believe we’ve been slingin’ pizzas for 20 years since March of 1987! That’s about 7300 days or 175,200 happy hours of fun! We’re excited to celebreate by brewing and bottling up a beer to share a special toast! Swami’s IPA is one of our best selling beers. Many have called it the original San Diego IPA. As such, it’s been a big part of Pizza Port Solana Beach since we installed the brewing system in 1992. A bold IPA hopped to the extreme with galena, Centennial and Cascade hops. We also add a healthy dose of dry hops in the serving tank and always serve it unfiltered. Thank you so much to everyone who has been sharing the memories along the unbelievable way...Cheers!"

A nice copper coloured ale with a small white head. Very grapefruit citrus aroma and some pine notes. Very bitter initially but expected in an IPA nice crisp finish Great brew.

Halvljus och grumlig. Bra drag i beskan och humlen står i topp. Tyvärr lite gammal så humlet är aningen trött vilket påverkar helheten, annars en bra ipa ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Decent golden color, fruity notes, typical California IPA. Easy drinking and generally tasty IPA. I’d buy it again.

Hoppy, citrusy aroma. A lot of dank, green notes. In taste more citrusy, fresh, crisp and green. Still awesome. Very drinkable, very crisp. Dry and hopy. Awesome west coast IPA.

This a dank double IPA from the can. Pours clean and finishes crisp. Everything west coast style about this one. Very enjoyable dank hops. Enjoy!

12-oz can, muled back from an OC retailer who pulled it off the truck seconds before selling it; about as fresh as I can get this beer in Seattle. Thanks, K! Pours a cloudy medium amber with bright orange gradient highlights at the edges. Sudsy off-white head that sticks around. Bright tangy citric and tropical nose with a little resin; showing mostly grapefruit and a bit of mango with resin underneath. Just a little bit of malty caramel. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Light caramel under a steady wash of grapefruit, mango, and resin. Long dry resiny finish. Nice one.
