Commercial Description:
Golden Ale with Brettanomyces. Synergy is defined as the interaction between two or more agents or forces enabling their combined effects to be greater than the sum of their individual effects. This beer is the result of Two Malted Barleys, Two distinct Hops and their blended flavors brought forth by Two Yeasts married by two fermentations, skillfully blended by a group of Innovative, forward thinking brewers whose focus and talents are on display and harnessed in the Synergy that beer can be.

Pours a golden/amber hue with a white head wtih decent lacing. Aromas of caramel, wet hops, a little copper/metal. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with flavors of flowers/floral with a light bitterness. Bretts aren’t as noticable with this style ale, but has a creamy mouthfeel and a little buttery.

Citrus and malt aroma, hazy yellow, tiny white head. Taste is lemon, yeast and some malt. Light bodied, spritzy. Very good. Thank You IPFreely.

This golden ale poured with a beautiful fluffy white head and a yeasty aroma. There is a crisp citrus flavor and a carbonated mouthfeel, folllowed by a bitter yeast finish. Very nicely hopped.

Golden-orange in colour, large and lingering white coloured head, good lacing. The aroma has lots of yeast, high amounts of citrus, very musty, some pepper. The flavour is quite spicy with lots of black pepper, light yeast, some orange citrus. Spicy mouthfeel, medium body, medium carbonation. Finishes with lots of yeast and must, citrusy and spicy. Really good but wasn’t as funky as expected.

750ml bottle shared by IPFreely, thanks Tim.
Opened on December 1, 2007.
No date.
[884-20071201] 750mL (Xmas Party 2007, beerhugger & guests). Sweet grapefruit flesh aroma has something else like tangy strawberry notes. Hazy, orange brown body with a foamy off-white head. Mildly bitter flavour is mostly fruity grapefruit and orange hops. Medium body. Really nice fruity hops.

Courtesy of wohlfs. Hazy copper, film for head. Aroma is very floral, almost dry hopped ipa-ish, some sourness in the background, but hard to pinpoint. Flavor is very earthy, floral hops, dry crackers, harsh backside bitterness and not much else. Brett is already drying this out. Pretty staright forward for PP. Maybe I was expecting more I don’t know.
