Tap at Solana Beach shared with GT2. Clear light orange pour. Great lace. Smooth, bright body. Extremely tropical fruit forward but well integrated. Super Balanced between malt and hop bomb. No chemical, no aftertaste. Medium carbonation. Not herbal or grassy like East coast IPAs I’m used to. No alcohol presence. Aroma was so fresh and Nuanced. Perfect really. Absolutely in love.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Short: A world class soft, juicy tropical IPA focusing on mango, papaya, and fresh sweet rolls
Origin: Growler from Pizza Port Solana Beach Size: 16oz Glass: Nonic Pint Price: $10-12 Date: 1/10/14
Long: A low haze light golden pour lets you know this baby has no specialty malt nonsense. Beautiful pillowy white foam with perfect lacing even with a 2 day old growler pour. Nose is awesome juicy mango, papaya, kumquat, super fresh bread rolls- like the most insanely enticing fresh French bakery I’ve encountered in IPA or beer for that matter besides maybe the dark bread character from Page 24 Biere de Gardes. Taste is soft, oatmeal like silky, mild sticky resin and tropical mango hop oils. Big fresh sweet roll body. Awesome finish with mild bitterness, not overpowering. Never soapy, tannic, chalky, nutty, heavy, abrasive, etc. Perfect IPA.
Flaws: Not on tap frequently enough
Skill Level: IPA Master

This one had a huge aroma wafting off of it. Then the flavor and bitterness take a 180 from there. Huge amount of hops here but the 7.7% is well hidden. Very drinkable. I am getting citrus, flowers and melon all mixed here.
