Dec 20, 2005 Tap @ San Clemente: Clear yellow with a small white head. Light sweet malt aroma. Sweet malt in the flavor as well. Yawn. Light fruity esters at the finish.

Dec 31, 2003 San Clemente: This beer sucked, but it was, at least, better than the Honey Ale that Pizza Port serves. It was very light-bodied and golden in color. Sad.

May 8, 2005 (Draft: Pizza Port in Solana Beach, CA) I was hoping for a golden ale, but this is more like a premium lager. It’s fairly flavorful, but not a flavor I’m enjoying. Grain maltiness, lightly bitter. Medium body is decent for the style. The aroma is a bit funky, and some mild grain, but it’s not pleasant. Light golden/dark yellow color, and slightly hazy in appearance. Small whitish head quickly fades to a rim. For the masses.
