On tap at CarlsBad Lo Cal. Pours light golden haze with white head that lingers. Has the distinct taste of "pizza port" I can’t pin point it. The bubblgum and cloves where mild. smooth Hef. Nice job Pizza Port

Aug 19, 2008 Huge Tempurpedic pillow head atop a swamp of muddy orange. Love it. Super wheaty nose that’s spicy and tart. Wheaty chewy tart lemon flavors..cereal & grains make for fun cherio flavors...Solid, clean and downright refreshing. I used to hate wheat beers but I quite enjoy them these days.

Aug 16, 2008 RBSG 2008. Clear gold with a fizzy white head. Very sweet, banana esters and soft wheat. Palate was creamy and soft from the wheat, but that seemed to emphasize the sweetness even more. Felt sugary and overly sweet.

Aug 6, 2008 From tap at Carlsbad. Pours slight cloudy orange with a lacing white head. Estery and light wheaty aroma. Mild spice hops note to the smooth and estery wheat flavours. Medium dry and light spiced finish.

Aug 5, 2008 Poured clear bright gold with a slight cap of white head. The aroma was sweet with bubblegum and caramel leading.. more banana showed with warmth, and this was just too sweet. The flavor had lots of banana esters and sweetness paired with some Big League Chew.. quite sweet with a pale malt base.. spicy and sweet bubblegummy finish. This wanted to be dry on the palate, but ended up skewed toward sweetness.. finished like candy.
