Ty5592 (1005), Hatfield, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 19, 2007 Hand bottle drunk 5/26. Clear gold color with small head. Malty yeasty aroma. The taste was and malty with light sweetness. Nice refreshing bitter finish. Crosling (1620), Loveland, Colorado, USA Jul 18, 2007 Hand bottled, thanks to my friend Dickinsonbeer. I typically shrug off lighter lagers like this and this one was resting in the back of the fridge, forgotten about. I cracked it tonight and i’m blown away by both its mouth feel and malt character. Extremely flavorful, fresh, succulent lightly toasty and bready malts. This is an eye opening beer and one heck of a lager. Thanks Paul. jcwattsrugger (3757), Florida and, New Jersey, USA May 17, 2007 on tap -pours a thin white head and yellow color. Aroma is mild grain, medium fruit. Taste is light/medium malt-some sweet, grain, balanced secondary spice floral hops. Some alcohol comes through, finishes fairly dry. OK carbonation. Dickinsonbeer (2505), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA May 14, 2007 Phenomenal Maibock. Pours a clear golden color (on the light side for the style) with nice lively carbonation and a foamy tight white head and awesome lace. Aroma is loaded with bready and slightly toasted malts, doughy, slightly nutty, and a fragrant herbal and spicy hop profile. Flavor is loaded with more lightly toasted malts, bready fresh pils malt, and noble spicy hops in the finish. Super smooth. Rivals Ramstein.
