Looks like this is the first of Pizzeria Uno’s beers to "go legit" with 10 ratings. This is kind of a deep amber colored ale. Medium sized but long lasting head, just sticking to the glass all over crazily. Solid amount of hop bitterness without getting too crazy. Just a nice solid IPA without getting all wrapped up in itself.

A decent IPA that is not overpowering. Good amount of hops. Nice looking dark orange amber. Good example of the style.

UPDATED: AUG 11, 2006 Thin foamy head with great carbonation. Dark orange/amber in color. Citrusy aroma with plenty of hops and some oranges. Dry bitter flavor. Bitterness is actually and little harsh and astringent at times. Nice and hoppy with some malts for balance. Flavor is pretty week though. Clean, slightly bitter finish. A decent IPA.

Light hoppy nose - wanted more fresh hops though, dark amber color (dark for an IPA), low fizzy head. Served very cold - had to let this warm up so the tastes could come through. Also twirled it around to give of some of gas - very carbonated. Medium toasted malt body with a fairy big hop punch of fresh high alpha hops (West Coast?) - though not overpowering. Decent balanced, more reserved than aggressive, but very good.

Sour milk nose / but light. Nice layer of a head, liveley carbonated, as all their beers. Deep dark amber color. Nutty taste first, medium bitter with a long grapefruit finish.

UPDATED: SEP 7, 2004 Decent middle-of-the-road IPA. Ample spicy/floral hop nose wafts from this deep amber brew. Small white head with tight bubbles. Strongly bitter finish. A good, but not great, representation of the style.

Light amber color with a nice thick (but small) head. Big floral hop aroma followed with a sweet malt taste. Nice beer, cool brewer. Thanks Steve.

MaiBockAddict (1498) - Good Beer Bar Deprived, New Jersey, USA - FEB 14, 2004
Nice carmel color, and clear. Thin white head. Citrus hop aroma. Flavor is hoppy, with a healthy dose of American hops. There is a nice underlying carmel malt flavor. Drinkable with no real problems.

This brew is named after Pizzeria Uno's founder. Rich amber color with a medium white head. Thin lacing. Nice hops aroma. Medium-bodied with nice hops up front, however they do fall off some by the end. The finish is nicely bitter. Overall a pretty good IPA.
