Rastacouere (5270), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Oct 28, 2007 Clear orange hue covered by a rather lacy white 1cm cover. Strong on the bready malts. A rather clean and focused example with crisp hoppiness, though not that bitter hops. Just balanced leafy and orange nuances. Very active carbonation, as seems to be the standard for that brewery, bites the tongue and removes the pleasant juiciness while levelling upwards the dryness. Well done and straightforward IPA, though subtler carbonation would suit my tastes better. hopdog (4552), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 3, 2005 On tap at Pizzeria Unos. Poured a medium amber color with a smaller sized off white head. Floral and citric aroma. Tastes of light flowers and oranges with very light caramel in lurking in the background. Medium bitter. Lacing left on the glass. jcwattsrugger (3862), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Mar 21, 2006 on tap-pours a light tan head that laces with copper color. Aroma is crisp hops. Taste is full, crisp hops, grapefruit. Good carbonation, nice. JoeMcPhee (3692), Jackson Heights, New York, USA May 4, 2007 Tap at Hop Devil Grill. Deep amber beer, light malty on the nose, soft earthy aroma with bright floral hop character. A touch minerally as well. Flavour is well-balanced, with earthy/floral hops over a lean pale malt base. Just a hint of sweetness. Moderate bitterness wit a dry finish. Very sessionable beer.
