jrohn92 (105), USA Jun 11, 2006 This was a very pleasant and hoppy suprise. This is a lot more hoppy and bitter than most brown ales like Sammy A and New Castle. pivo (2486), Germany Mar 12, 2005 Toasted malt nose, chesnut brown color, clingy sticky head. Toffee and caramel tastes, some roasted malt. Dry coffee end. Enjoyable, but somehow simple and not so sophisticated. Over-filtered. Yogi_Beera (2404), Hamburg, Germany Mar 7, 2005 On Tap: Nice amber color, small creamy. Lively carbonation. Slightly skunky nose. Roasted coffee bean taste, medium lasting. Again does the extra tingling carbonation ruin the taste a bit.
