Growler @ Madness. Poured a clear deep copper color with an off-white head. The aroma was of diacetyl covered malt. The flavor was a dry caramel malt. Bitter finish and nothing real complex going on. The bitterness was long. Medium bodied.

Growler. Poured a medium brown color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of caramel, butterscotch, and chocolate. Tastes of lighter butteriness, caramel, and roast.

on tap at the brewpub. Deep amber/ruby in color. Aroma is caramel and light notes of chocolate. Taste is caramel, light chocolate, medium bodied, with a smooth finish. Could have used some more body and malt complexity- looking at other ratings, maybe this is a new recipe- overall this was pretty well made though. got better as it got warmer....

on tap-pours a quickly dissipating light tan head and dark red color. Aroma is dark/medium malt- sweet. Taste is very sweet dark medium malt-scotch, secondary hops bite. Ok carbonation. Not my style but well done.
