rman18 (146), South Amboy, New Jersey, USA Apr 13, 2008 Updated: Jul 5, 2008I had this beer from the tap at the brewpub. It is their "seasonal beer" and it was my favorite out of all of there currents. Poured dark orangy brown with a small tannish head. Tasted very good light spice/clove. I’m surprised to see it is 8% alcohol as I didn’t taste any. jcwattsrugger (3757), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Mar 21, 2006 on tap-pours a light tan head with cloudy, dark orange color. Aroma is banana, clove, wheat. Taste follows along with other spicing, creamy medium body. egajdzis (2929), Terrapin, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 3, 2005 Poured a hazy brownish orange color with a small, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of banana, clove, and caramel malts. Taste of wheat, banana nut bread, caramel malts, clove and a touch of alcohol. Really nice beer! willblake (1920), Long Branch, New Jersey, USA Jun 17, 2005 06.16.05 On tap at BP. Couded golden orange; lacy, sticky white head. Strong banana presence on nose, some clove, milky. Good, smooth body with a light effy tingle. Round and balanced flavors. This is a nicely drinkable weizenbock, but could be meatier, more forward with the alcohol. Nothing not to like other than that it’s rather ordinary. Jine (855), Nutley, New Jersey, USA May 30, 2005 I was so happy to see a weizenbock on tap. I mean, a Pizzeria Uno brewing up a weizenbock? Ridic
And it was really good too. Really banana-ey aroma, and banana/spice/other fruit flavors. So smooth. Really just the best of the 6 brews that I had
