COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Editor’s note: previously brewed at Næstvedbryggeriet Føniks.

Bottle, 50cl. Pours hazy, amber with a orangered hue to it along a small, off-white head. Malt dominated nose with ripe, dark fruits, citrus/oranges and hops. Flavour is caramel, malty sweet with light-moderate bitter, yet fresh citrus and herbal hoppy taste. The IPA character becomes more apparent in the middle-end notes. Decent mouthfeel, but a bit too flat carbonated. Medium body with a oily texture.

0.5 l bottle, thanks hanniku! Amber color. Aromas of dark fruity caramel with some tangerine flowery honeyish notes. Bittersweet caramelly taste with fruity hoppiness and some herbal bitter orange or tangerine. Medium to full body. Too caramelly for my taste.

@ Ölkväll o bryggning i Källna (15/11-13).

No i maślanka diacetylowa, która... idealnie tam pasowała. Piwny chleb z masłem! Osobliwe piwo, warto dać szansę.

Overall good aroma with notes of caramel and a great deal of hops. Not as bitter as the usual IPA. Overall a nice, but different IPA.

Very decent IPA (good value for money - 2.8€ for 0.5L). ABV is 6.0% NOT 5,7% as indicated above. 1. Aroma: Mild fruity refreshing hop aroma, almost peachy with a hint of cara malt. 2. Appearance: A nice, but unclear orange to amber color. Medium stable off-white head. 3. The flavour has a caramelly maltiness, but is relatively low on hops (likely american). Good finishing bitter! 4. Decent mouth feel, but undercarbonated. 5. A middle of the road american IPA..

Bottle from Super Brugsen, - Amber pour with a small off-white head. Sweet malts, fruity hops, floral tones, some caramel, toffee, slight herbs, grassy. Ok.

This is the strangest aroma of any IPA, ever! I appreciate IPAs with a firm malty backbone, but this is just plain silly: this is all malt, malt and malt again! At least initially, all I could distinguish was malt extract. After a while some more IPA-ish notes start to creep in, there are notes of overripe fruits and grapefruit there as well, in addition to marzipan and caramel. Still, this is really, really strange. The flavours are a bit more balanced, the overripe grapefruit is up there together with the malt extract and caramel. The taste is moderate sweet and moderate bitter. A nice oily texture, medium body, moderate carbonation and some dryness in the finish. Looks good, with a slightly hazy, medium amber body and a long-lasting off-white head that laces the glass well.
[50 cl bottle, enjoyed 8 months before BB date, from SuperBrugsen Nykøbing Sj., Denmark]

50 cl. bottle, shared. Cloudy, golden-amber colour with a dense, off-white head. Sweet aroma with citrus, grass, caramel malts, bread, fruits and yeasts. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a lively carbonation. Finishes dry and bitter with fruits and citrus. One of the better offerings from this "brewery", albeit a bit unrefined.
