COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Editor’s note: previously brewed at Næstvedbryggeriet Føniks.

Copenhagen 11/6 2015. 50 cl bottle from SuperBrugsen. Another installment in the Monrad & Rislund comedian series. Pours slightly hazy amber with small white head. Dissipates to thin layer quickly. Aroma has a little sweetness with a sharp note of grape fruit. Medium carbonation. Taste is quite bitter with a lot of grape fruit and a dry finish. Nice bitter brew in a silly wrapping.

0.5 bottle. Very hazy, light brown color and a small, white head. Aroma of bread, hops, grains, and some dough. Taste is rather malty, again grains and bread. Medium body, slick texture, and soft carbonation. Finish is shortish and also very bready, quite simple. Overall a mediocre beer but for whatever it’s worth, I believe it has been unjustly categorized as an IPA and thus unfairly rated.

Hvad skal jeg sige? Jeg er både til IPA'ere og Pladderballe Bryghus' øl. Super fin smag, IPA, historie og ikke mindst smag

Pretty decent beer from Svaneke Bryghus. Don’t care too much for the M&R branding, though.

Bottle @ home shared by dad. Clear amber color, medium sized off-white head. Aroma is malts, hops and something that reminds me of a barley wine. Taste malts, bitter hops, bitter, a hint of overripe fruits. Decent body and carbonation.

bottle from a copenhagen supermarket. hazy orange colour with an unconvincing head; light citric aroma, a little dusty; minimal bitterness, orange pip, a bit dull

A typical IPA, yet it surprised me with an good aroma with a lot of scences and a more creamy mouthfeel, than I expected. Floral and fruity aroma and a bitter and average aftertaste. I'm not an IPA-expert, but this is above all not the worst, I've tasted.

Off white very small head, somewhat hazy amber body. Aroma; pine, resin, grapefruit peel, orange notes, juicy roasted malts. Taste; juicy resiny malts, citrus peel, undefined fruity notes, roasted caramel stuff. On palate decent, good body, soft carbonation. Finishes milder, still roastiness and bitterness present, among caramel notes. Overall alright. [50cl brown btl 6.0%abv BB20.11.14]
