COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Copenhagen 8/2 2015. 50 cl bottle from Fakta. Pours hazy gold with white head. Gradually subsiding. Aroma is sweet and a bit cloying. Medium carbornation. Taste is very very sweet. Too sweet! Combined with a grapelike bitter aftertaste. Not on my shoppinglist in the future.

A nut-brown, unfiltered X-Mas Pilsner with creamy head. Aroma is liqourice, fresh, malty, caramel. Taste is light bitter and sweet. Pearly. Don't like.

50cl bottle from fakta spinderiet. fantastic name. clear brown, smooth offwhite head.nuts, sweet malts, perfumey marcipan, anise in the slightly strange aroma. flavor is anise, malts, faint herbal note. composition is not up to my expectations from svaneke or pladderballe, taste is too much anise, even though there is not that much of it. thingsjust doesn’t fit well together flavor wise. Technically the beer is good, tastes and feel like beer brewed with dedication.

Rich and fine beer that I thought would taste more licorice. It consumes rather little to the bread flavored with wort and mellow malt.

Bottle from Brugsen, Christianshavn - amber pour with small diminishing head. Malty caramel, slight hoppy, very sweet, some slight herbs/spice. Pretty boring, uninspiring.

Bottle. 5.7%. Best before 26.09.13. Pours a hazy amber/copper with a tan head. Bit of lacing. Sweet, almost sugary aroma with a strong note of anise, and a bit of hops in the background. Cloying. Flavour is sweetish and a bit malty, with here as well; not as outspoken as in the aroma at first, but it gains strength as it warms. Picks up a grainy/cereal note as it warms as well. Mildly bitter and slightly tart finish, anise here as well. Lingering light notes of grass, hay and a touch of liquorice. Slightly greasy palate. Overall so-so. Not badly done, but not great either, and I don’t really care for anise – too cloying for my liking. 12.09.13.
