Editor’s note: previously brewed at Næstvedbryggeriet Føniks.

Bottle. Medium high and long lasting fluffy white head. Hazy amber body. Malt caramel grass aroma with a light note of apples. Relatively sweet flavor of a dusty and dry barley malt with caramel and apple notes. Low carbonation. Short aftertaste.

500ml bottle, 4.7 % abv, from Skinnyviking (or was it djoeye?). Shared at a session with Stefan and Elisabeth. Golden body with a slight haze. Pearl white head leaving lacing rings down the glass. Mild nose of lemony hops, semi-sweet. Moderate taste of mid-sweet fruits and pale malts. Subdued bitter endnotes. Soft carbonated. Decent lager (Tromsø 20.10.2014).

Bottle. 4.7%. Best before 09.08.14. Pours a cloudy light orange with a diminishing off-white head. Okay lacing. Light spicy hop aroma at first. Light Milky and grainy notes as it warms. Flavour is a bit fat, bordering on grainy, with a light spicy hop note. Light milky and fruity note as it warms. A bit grainy finish. Light milky note as it warms. Lingering grassy note. Slightly fat palate, and also feels a bit stale. Overall so-so; it isn’t that well-made and has some flaws, but it’s not entirely bad. 06.08.14.

Bottle, 50cl. Pours golden yellow colour with a medium-big off-white head. Creamy at top, yet airy underneath. Malty, caramel with citrus, grass, wheat and light hobs in nose. Mostly bittersweet dominated hoppy flavour with malty touch along some fruity notes. Dusty hay and bit of sweet honey as well. Medium body, average carbonation, light-to-medium oily, creamy texture. Turns slightly sour towards the end. Don’t really match the label.

0.5 bottle. Cloudy, light amber color and a big, white, somewhat creamy head. Citrus aroma with some grass and a little bit of malts with honey as well as some cheese. Taste of hay, some hop bitterness, a small touch of honey and malts again. Medium body, slick but also creamy texture, and a below-average carbonation. Finish is sourer than the rest but not to a fault;best described as refreshing. Overall the beer is rather simple, like a pilsner should be, though it cannot really be called one; way too little hoppy bitterness for the style it claims to be. I still think it’s a nice brew but they could consider changing the label.

50cl bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus. Clear orange color, small off - white head that diminishes quickly. Smell and taste malts, sweetish, dusty, cellar. Average body and carbonation. Meh.

Bottle @ benzai. Clear golden yellow colour with a medium sized off-white head. Smells like a keller beer.. Hint of toffee, malty, sweet, barnyard. Tastes like a keller beer mixed with cardboard and some oak. Either this is old or just a bad beer. Thin body, soft carbo.

Aroma is okay - bready, toffee-like, melanoidin and cara notes. No hops aroma what so ever! Appearance: Hazy amber with a surprisingly little (to non-existing) head and similar retention. Taste: Clean lager like taste; low bitterness and a bit boring sweet cara malt tast. Palate: UNDER-CARBONATED (as with many of the other beers in the series!) They must have struggled with correct carbonation priming! Feels a bit thin.. Overall: The beer is halted by under carbonation and general lack of depth (both on malt and hops).
