COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Delirium (636) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 23, 2012
Bottle. Pours cloudy dark amber with a moderate white head. Aroma is strongly of anise, with some caramel. Flavor is also strongly spiced, with anise and caramel the dominant notes, and perhaps some pepper. Some moderate sweetness cuts the spice. Good if you like anise, which I do, but not complex or balanced by any means.

Bottle, 5.7%. Kongen af Danmark aroma, sugar and anise. Almost clear dark copper colour. Small whitish head. The flavour is not as sweet as the aroma suggests, but has some anise. Flavourful, but not a sugar bomb. Good bitterness and mouthfeel.

Rating #780, brought by Troels to Christmas Brew tasting 2012. A redbrown beer, opaque and with a dissapearing head. Nose is caramel, hops and a bit of sweet berries. Flavor with caramel, spicy hops, chalk, burnt and medium bitter. Standard feel and thickness. Reminded me of a well-brewed and full-tasted vienna. Better than expected.
