Gravity dispense at Ascot Racecourse Beer Festival 2012 - 06/10/12. Listed in the program and on the badge as 4.6% ABV. Dark mahogony brown vergeing on black with a thin tan head. Roast malt nose, molasses, bitter chocolate. Taste follows nose with a little smokeiness to the flavour. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation leading to a dry finish. A decent stout.

Tried at the 2016 Peterborough Beer Fesival. Dark ruby brown colour with a beige head. Aroma coffee, chocolate, and spicy smoke. Taste has this too with a bitter finish.

[GBBF 2016, Olympia] - Plain Ales Inncognito, 4.8%. Schuckeschwarz, wenig, cremiger Schaum. Ein traditionelles Stout mit der üblichen Mischung aus schokoladigen, Kaffee und Lakritznoten. Mitteldichte Textur, kaum wässrig. Ordentlich.

Cask at GBBF 2016, Olympia, London. A black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate aroma. Tastes quite similar, roasty, malty, chocolate, dark fruit. Rich tasting stout, very nice indeed.

Cask at the Post Office Vaults, Birmingham. Poured a clear dark brown with a bubbly light tan head. The aroma is light smoky roast. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a light roasty, charcoal, light liqourice, light chocolate palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.
