Cask @ The Waggon & Horses during the Ratebeer Black Country Bash. The pour’s deep gold with a small head. The nose is faint bread, honey. Little else. The taste is general pale malt. More honey. Tracker bar sweetness. Light body, fine carbonation. Decent, inoffensive.

Cask at the Waggon an ’osses, Halesowen on the RB BCBB - 06/07/13. Lightly hazed golden with a thin off white head which dissipates edgeward. Nose is summer fruits, trace of diacetyl, sugars. Taste comprises bitter fruits, light toffee, sugar, good old butter and his friend scotch! Medium bodie, moderate carbonation, light bitterness in the finale. Sub par mediocrity.

Cask conditioned at The James Street Tavern, Oxford St. Clements. Gold with white head. Another perfumed beer from Plain Ales, this one is quite flowery with a hint of Geranium. Slightly on the sweeter side then some late bitterness. Hmmm.
