Lovely spicy dry hoppy aroma. Reddy orange, large tight spongy off-white head. Slightly appley taste, some caramel. A bit thin. Dull compared to what the aroma promised. Not particularly refreshing.

Cask at the Black Door, Helsinki, Finland. Clear mahogany colour with small creamy off-white head. Darkish malt, nuts and caramel malt in aroma. Flavour is pretty much the same. Nutty malt, hints of chocolate, caramel and touch of hops. Plain and boring. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(Cask at Black Door, 20120616) The beer poured mahogany coloured and clear. Aroma had toffee, hops and malts. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were hops, sweetness, toffee, malts, caramell and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty, sweet and bitter. A bit of homebrew like characteristics and unbalancedness.

Cask at the CASK Pub & Kitchen, Pimlico on 15th July 2011. Clear amber with offwhite quick-decaying film and ring; very little lace. Quite hoppy with some caramel maltiness; butterscotch, smoke and ashiness in-mouth, and the finish was quite malty, on the sweet side yet some ashy smokiness continuing. Light texture.
