Heaps of bitter hoppiness in this one - but delve deep and the sweetness may still be there. A red ale with summer fruits and hints of tartness.

Cask at White Horse. Pours amber copper. Aroma is malty and caramel with slightly over ripe fruit. Taste is mild bitter with a smooth palette and no carbonation.

Cask@The Cornubia, Bristol. Amber colour, small white head. ARoma is fruity, wooden, floral, sweet malty and also has some slight ripe fruits. Flavour is fruity, wooden, resiny and quite malty.

Cask-conditioned at the Cornubia, Bristol 28/07/2012. Medium brown in colour with a decent, off-white head. Aroma of tart plum fruit, some caramel and a touch of leafy hop. Flavour had more fruit and some sweetish malts, before a long, bitter finish. Ok.
