4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a cloudy pale golden color with a thick three finger high head that settles slowly to a solid cap. The resulting lace is a bit tattered, but sticks nicely, leaving a broken webbing behind.
Smell; lots of strong bananas and cloves with a big wheat backing. After this warms up a bit, a little lemon peel and some sweet malts come through, as well as a touch of bubblegum. A bit more weizen than weizenbock in the aroma, but still very good.
Taste; the bananas, cloves and wheat are just as prevalent in the flavor as they were in the aroma. Bubblegum and a zesty lemon fill out the middle, and then a sweet maltiness, and a bit of a tartness, come through in the finish.
Mouthfeel is full bodied, with a very creamy smooth carbonation, and just an incredible drinkability. This one goes down so smoothy. If this was available anywhere near me I would keep some on hand all of the time. I picked mine up in Grand Rapids, MI.

500ml bottle. Hazy amber colour with huge, frothy to creamy, fully lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Wheaty and spicy, minimally peppery yeasty aroma, hints of mild mustard, fruity notes of pear and banana. Taste is intensely fruity, lots of pear, also banana and red apple, a minimally spicy, yeasty touch, hints of mild mustard, moderate sweetness, dry hoppy overtones, dry hints of fruit parings; very subtle hints of alcohol in the finish. Full body, thick tecture, drinkable though, Wonderful fruity Weizenbock.

0.5 l bottle from the brewpub in Laaber... Clody orange color, short head... Untypical metallic alcoholy aroma... Unspecial Weizen Bock, metallic ending...

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Hazy deep golden color with a frothy off-white head. Aroma of banana and grain. Quite unsual acidic yeasty taste for a Weizen Bock. Medium thin body.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Deep hazy orange color, decent creamy white head, lace. Overriped banana, some alcohol in the aroma. Citrusy, tart flavor. Some overriped banana. Quite sour. Not my kind of weizenbock.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
(bottle) pours a murky golden colour with a frothy white head. aroma of pickles, dill, yeast and banana, with a hint of caramelized cereals and lemons. flavour is mostly rotten peaches, banana and caramel, with more pickles, some alcohol and a chalky finish. heavy-bodied with lively carbonation. truly awful stuff.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Delicious. Tart and funky/sour weizen bock. Aroma is barnyard soured fruits. Mouthfeel is bubbly and medium thick. Bottle started bubbling over before I poured it, so that should tell you a bit about the carbonation. Taste is that of a traditional/ normal hefe with added tartness and funky strawberry. Very good!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
No bottling information.
Appearance: The pour was clear and golden, but it appears copper in the glass with sediment abound. The head is moderately tall with average retention, settling into a thick coating.
Aroma: The aroma is of vanilla, banana and caramel with underlying dark fruits.
Taste: Hints of vanilla and banana about with hints of peppery spice that linger after the finish and underlying dark fruits.
Palate: Odd slimy sensation with high carbonation...Odd.
Overall: A good weizenbock, it’s hard to recommend over the titans, Vitas, et all, but it’s good and worth a try.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at the GJBF Osaka. It pours a little bit darker gold than your usual weizen, minimal white head. The aroma is slightly stronger but not in a spicy way and I got some smokiness to it. The flavor was fruity but not so spicy as a regular weizen. A supercharged weizen with a greater alcohol punch.
