Older bottle but still an easy drinker, malty with a noticeable amount of orange.

Pours light golden and cloudy with a thin fully receding white head. Notes of light biscuit, cracker, herbs, bready lager yeast, and hop resin. Very clean and refreshing. Quite nice.

Cloudy amber with a nice head and lace. Clean caramel malt and wheat balanced by light hops. Nice lingering finish. Solid.

Purchased bottle at Table and Vine, West Springfield, MA. Enjoyed 7 Aug, 2011. Not an expert on this style, 1 pint 9 oz. bottle poured to a plastic cup. (all I had at the hotel) It’s hard to talk about head retention and carbonation when your drinking from a plastic cup. Anyways, Smell is much like every other pils I ever drank. Bread like malt with a hoppy, floralness. Flavor is very clean and dry malt with a stronger hop presence. Over very nice.

Pours a hazy dark golden yellow color with a two finger frothy, pillowy white head that has excellent retention, slowly fading into a lasting ring. The glass is left coated with chunks of soapy lacing. Floral, earthy aroma with lots of grass hops and straw along with some pale malt notes and light fruit. Hints of biscuit, hay, apple and pear. The hop presence is really nice, countering the sweeter notes. Medium bodied with a nice crisp hop bite up front that lingers over the pilsner malts into a slightly dry finish. The grassy hops add some nice dry bitterness without overpowering the other notes. Pilsner malt backbone with hints of straw, biscuit and subtle light fruit, mostly apple. Not quite as complex as the aroma suggests but it’s still pretty flavorful and refreshing.

11/12/11/11/10/11

Tasted on 4/10/11 from a bottle at Lush West Town. Pours hazy yellow with a thick white head that slowly recedes to thin lace. The nose is classic pilsner; nutty, with hints of menthol and sugar sweetness. The flavor is spicy and nutty pilsner with the same hint of sweetness from the nose. The body is light with average carbonation and a long spicy and lightly bitter finish.

hazed yellow body; white head. mild dough (complete with dusty flour) yeast and lightly sweetened honey-accented biscuit pils malt nose. mild aromatic hops give it very slight citrus quality. medium-light body. lightly sweet doughy malts with hints of honey and dried orange. chalky finish and dirty yeast throughout give it a vitamin flavor and texture (chalky and fizzy).
