   AROMA 7/10   APPEARANCE 4/5   TASTE 8/10   PALATE 4/5   OVERALL 13/20
Koelschtrinker (11740) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 8, 2011
11/12/11/11/10/11

Maria (10187) - Thisted, DENMARK - FEB 21, 2012
It’s hazy golden with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt, flower, grass and herbs - nice both hoppy and malty. The dry and slightly bitter flavor has a light sweetness and the same notes as the aroma. A very nice pilsner.

3fourths (8382) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - APR 18, 2012
hazed gold with a foamy rock white head. faint but splendid nose of lemon honey tea and baked crackers with heavy but clean dishsoap phenols. bright, snappy, crisp, and likably effervescent across the middle. finishes abuzz with cold slab stone minerals surrounded by dough, toasted corn, and barley. sweetness is well-matched to bitterness and carbonation. surprisingly enjoyable after the bottle from the year before seemed dirty, chalky, and yeasty. I made a purchase on a whim because I was curious, and may buy it again to revisit in a week or so, just to check my sensors. though at over $6 for a bottle I can’t say I’ll be buying regularly.

KyotoLefty (6964) - Kyoto, JAPAN - MAR 1, 2013
Bottle at Wachi. Nice malty nose, light grassy hop, bready. Golden and pretty. Malty, bready flavor, rich and nice, ok hopping, very balanced though could be a bit more bitter. Generally very nice and drinkable. Want to try it on tap.

lusikka (6737) - Tampere, FINLAND - DEC 10, 2013
330 ml bottle.
Pours a slightly cloudy golden colour with a small head. Aroma of grainy malts, mild floral notes and honey. Flavour of grassy and herbal hoppiness, green tea, honey, grains and mild caramel sweetness. Light bodied, smooth mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Refreshing and drinkability is just about right. More please.

Ernest (6514) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAR 17, 2011
Bottle. Head is initially small, frothy/fizzy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is hazy medium to dark yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain, husks), lightly to moderately hoppy (flowers, herbs, lemon), with a light note of soap. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter, slightly grainy. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. A little soapy and grainy, but it has an attractive hop bouquet. Easy going and simple.
