3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
This was a typical IPA (though I’m not sure what the "English" designation means). The flavor was not very hoppy.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Keg at the brewpub, 10/11/14.
Clear golden with a well appointed off white covering that retains well.
Nose is pale malts, straw, citric peel, hint of orange.
Taste comprises bread dough, lemon rind, light orange, straw, pale malt.
Medium bodied, moderate carboantion, semi drying close with subtle bitterings.
Looks and feels good but delivers little at the business end.
