An intense array of signature NW hops backed by an international mix of malts. Full flavored, robust, and not at all subtle.

A very good IPA. Brand new from the new brewery. Their first Ale, after making two Bitter’s and a Porter.

nose of peach/apricot and candied grapefruit with a similar balanced flavor. Moderately bitter, and medium bodied. OK. 22 from BOTB.

Red-amber, ok head. Some nice leafy hop and stone fruit notes swirl about the nose. Some aeration also reveals a sweet crystal malt backbone. Candi fruit notes dominate the body, perhaps from both the malt and hops, and are joined by some alcohol notes. Juicy fruit sweet finish joined by a touch of bitterness.

Bottle, shared with the brewery crew. Medium copper, clear, off white head. Caramel with tea-like hops, hints of peach, tannic pithy bitterness. More like an English IPA, clean but just not that appealing to me.

22 oz bomber purchased from Roth’s Sunnyslope market in S.Salem OR $4.99 Darker amber..unusual for an IPA with a nice sized thick and frothy cream coloured head. Nice fresh piney/spruce and and herbal hopping..strong caramel malt backing. Taste much the same as the aroma , with the herbal/resinous bitterness comes through strong..malting is substantial. Liked the mouth feel on this..medium ,smooth and with a nice bitter kick in the end. Nice typical Oregon IPA..liked this one it seems more than most.

Bottle:   Orangish, thin sudsy white head, little lacing.   Hoppy nose, a little dank.   Soft bitterness, a little sweet pith and peel on the backside.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Finish shows some mild bitterness, mild sweetness, with a little pith and peel.   Tiz okay, a bit pedestrian but its clean.

22. Pours a murky dark amber with a loose creamy white head. Mild caramel and soft leafy pine resin on the nose. Creamy medium body with soft carb. Caramel and pine mid palate. Long earthy finish.

Salmoniform (1272) - Sweet Home, Oregon, USA - FEB 18, 2015
Poured from tap to glass. Orange hue with thick creamy tan head that lingered. Aroma is orange, pine, grapefruit, resin. Mouthfeel is nice with a medium body and smooth carbonation. Taste is dry sweet with a hop bitterness following. Overall this is an ok brew with a more bitter hop profile than flavor/aroma.

Bomber. Citrus and candied tropical fruit sweetness. Full body. Oily. Finishes with light pine that is overshadowed by even more candied flavors.
