Due to 50% spelt malt and 50% barley malt the result is a very digestible wholesome beer.

Its like drinking amber malt extract mixed with some water. Very sweet, no bitterness at all! Not really close to my idea of beer but i guess it may be a comparable drink. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Schwach herber Abgang, kaum Hopfen. - Enttäuschend.

330ml bottle. Clear orangey, dark golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy aroma, a spicy touch of hay, dry, minimally grassy hoppy overtones. Taste is dry, grainy, some spelt. Unspectacular, nothing I need to drink again.

Really nice aroma that unfortunately doesn’t show up much in terms of flavor. Thin palate. A good thirst quencher with a fruity spicey finish.

0.33l bottle. Hazy light orange body, white head. Sweet grainy aroma with lemon juice and pepper. Taste of sweet bread and lemon juice with grains. A bit too sweet and thin for me.

Strangely as alias of Moulin des Moines Speltor. Blonde, hazy golden appearance with small grey head. Light yeasty, orange notes, bit of humous malts and little hops. Soft taste yet not tasteless, just simple. Woody herbs and rough specialty malts to finish. Not great. (33cl bottle from Coop Tours Centre)

Bottle. Golden, hazy, small to average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate, malty – lightly grainy with light wheat (spelt) and lightly sweetish aroma, light bread. Body is light to medium, malty - lightly grainy with light wheat and lightly sweetish flavor, light bread. Finish is average, malty - lightly grainy and lightly sweetish, light bread. Really nothing special - lacks hoppyness.

Bottle. A clear one, golden in color and topped by a small, dense, off-white head. Rather neutral aroma, with pale malts, some fruityness and a touch of caramel. Medium body, quite dry and nicely carbonation. Fruityness, pale malts, some caramel and a little bitterness in the flavor. Quite short finish. Anyway, a decent beer, but far from my favorite German. 130202
