Due to 50% spelt malt and 50% barley malt the result is a very digestible wholesome beer.

Bottle. Sour milk, banana, apricot malt aroma. Hazy yellow amber color with small head. Sour milk malt flavor with a sour/bitter finish. Decent but I would have liked a higher spelt percentage.

It’s hazy, dark golden with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of cheese, malt and fruit. The flavor is moderately sweet with notes of malt, fruit and flower. It’s soft and smooth, but a little watery.

Bottle 33cl. @ home.
Clear medium orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, grain, hay, light to moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average duration, and a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090911]

Botella, bought in some eco store in Paris. Unclear golden. Hoppy, maltish grainy aroma. Fair mouthfeel. The flavour is bitter and grainy with malt and a little spice, light smoke. Simple.

Botella. Comes as "Dinkel Naturtrüb Kloster Plankstetten". Clear deep golden colour. Aroma of herby hops. Good mouthfeel. The flavour has a herby hoppiness with some mild frutiness and a pleasant soft bitterness. Dry hoppish short finish.

Bottle, labeled as Benediktine Plankstetten. Surprisingly good organic beer. Very nice cloudy deep golden colour, with a head that fades quickly, though it leaves a good lace. Fresh smell of grains, pine, apricot and banana, with a bit of citrus. Too light body, some more carbonation would make a very good beer. Taste of oranges, malty and fruit.

Bottle 33cl. Pours a cloudy orange-yellow brew with quickly disappearing head. Tastes grainy, malty but different from the mass. A bit boring.
