330ml bottle shared with CatweazleTroms at Fasslwirtschaft, Riedenburg. Organic spelt beer with a light orange taste. Aroma has got some hints of pineapple. Low level of haze to a golden-yellow body. Smooth. Medium to thin mouthfeel (21.06.2007).

Bottle, 4.9%. Weak hay aroma. Quite cloudy orange colour. Small semi-stable white head. The flavour is watery and slightly bready. Tiny hint of fruit in the finish, otherwise rather bland. Low bitterness. I guess it would be OK refreshing in the sun.

(33cl bottle) Hazy, pale golden colour with a medium-sized, lacing white foam. Dusty, moderately sweet malty aroma with notes of apricot and citrus. Sweet and slightly acidic flavour, light bodied with a lively carbonation. Malty, slightly yeasty and most of all flowerly fruity taste; sweetish fruity finish with a slightly sour edge. Average “Dinkelweizen”.

almopina (87) - Madrid, SPAIN - MAR 1, 2007
Labelled Benediktinerabtei Plankstetten Espelta(not this beer but from this brewer). My first bio beer. Hazy yellow-orangish color with no head. No carbonation at all. Smells fruits (specially apple) and the taste is very similar. Not so good finish, exect for the presence of hops at the very end. Very easy to drink (like a lemonade). It is one of those that I called Lemonade beers. Not bad as a lemonade, but not good enough as a beer.

Bit grassy hoppy aroma with some malt and citrus. Slightly hazy, golden coloured with a lasting, thin, off-white head. Taste is sweet, smooth. Hoppy, citric and something like aprikot. Good palate, smooth mouthfeel. Nice brew.

33 cl bottle. Yeast at the bottom. Little cloudy golden colour with a nice fizzy white head. Light grassy aroma with a noteable maltness. Very soft and pleasant flavour of soft sweet maltness, and hints corn and grains.
