Piwo Ekologiczne z orkisza o przyjemnych wiosennym zapachem natury. Piana spora i trwala sniezno biala. Kolor piwa jaskrawo zolty z lekka metnoscia. Orzezwiajace w smaku orkiszowe typowe, trochę ryzu gotowanego wyczulem. Przyjemne i przede wszystkim zrobione ze zdrowych skladnikow. Bardzo zdrowe jest ziarno orkisza a piwo na pewno nie zawiera zadnych pozostalosci po Roundup-ie lub innytm zamiennikiem zawierającym glifosat. Na zdrowie!

Süßer, leicht getreidiger Geruch. Sehr süßer Antrunk, das Bier erscheint mir CO2-arm. Im weiteren Verlauf sind die Aromen nur verhalten, das Ganze schmeckt etwas dickflüssig...ich weiß nicht wie ich es beschreiben soll. Wässrig, leicht herb,leicht getreidig. Sehr schön im Sommer bei den derzeitgen Höchsttemperaturen. Trotzdem hätte mehr Intensität in den Aromen nicht geschadet. Test vom 18.7.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,11,13,11,8,12 - 11,15

Bottle, labeled as Benediktine Plankstetten. Surprisingly good organic beer. Very nice cloudy deep golden colour, with a head that fades quickly, though it leaves a good lace. Fresh smell of grains, pine, apricot and banana, with a bit of citrus. Too light body, some more carbonation would make a very good beer. Taste of oranges, malty and fruit.

Bottle from Naturalia north of Les Halles in Paris. Hazy orange-tan color, fine low head. Wheaty aroma, banana, clove, estery and rich, creamy. Slightly sour, citric flavor with banana and cereals, cloves. Lots of meaty grains. Interesting balance with sweet malt and tart edge. Low hops. Creamy, smooth mouth. Interesting.

Bottle at the Krone in Greding. Clearly a beer that needs to be sampled close to home. A remarkable mix of spelt beer and Landbier, easily drinkable but well off centre. Grassy-herbal, fresh hop flavour and understated spelt-wheat graininess. More intteresting than most.

0,33l Flasche. Dunkelgelbes naturtrübes Bier mit kleiner Schaumkrone. Riecht nach Getreide und Malz. Schmeckt tatsächlich nach Dinkel, leicht gehopft und mit einem leckeren Nachgeschmack nach Malz und Honig.

Cerveza ecológica de espelta. No tiene gran sabor recordable, pero el hecho de ser de un cereal alternativo y ecológica hace que le dé más puntos.

UPDATED: FEB 5, 2004 Re-rate: Citric,peach-like, dusty-bready notes and sharp rye-like edges in the aroma. Cloudy orange-amber, low carbonation and a not-too-stable head. citrus, white bread a few dry edges (but not as much as in an average rye-wheat). Also the Riedenburger dust-note is here again (I am not just imagining things am I?). All in all the flavors are quite harmonic and fill the mouth well. Medium body with a spritzy mouthfeel.

Farbe und Schaum sind ein Witz. Ist dies den Bier? Ja, es ist. Die Optik ist auch nicht Alles. Das Bier ist Süss und Herb zugleich es fängt im Einstieg anders an als es dann im Körper und Abgang. Man riecht und schmeckt das Getreide und im Geschmack gibt es sehr unterschiedliche Horizonte. Im Abgang eine schwierige Sauer Note, die nur wenige gut finden. Fazit: Ein interessantes Bier was sehr schnell Daumen nach oben oder unten vom Bewerter bekommt.

Amber, slight haze; yellowish small head. Grainy, bready, yeasty nose. Typical not MUCH nose for this brewery. Faint citrus too. Taste even more bready. Nice, again typical wholewheat or rye (of course, it is spelt) flavour. Fine aroma's, turning nutty after a bit warming up. Again, this spritzy, mineral-water sensation, without making the beer too thinnish. I like it - without deeming it really great. The brewery has obviously a tasterofile it likes, and that's OK with me.
