Pours clear dark mahogany color with a small head. Aroma of dark malts, caramel, some toffee, yeast and some cellar and earth notes. Flavor of caramel, toffee, malts, mild brown sugar and a very faint chocolaty twist on the finish. Slick palate. A bit too sweet but otherwise decent.

Bottle. Deep amber color with a small off-white head. Malty aroma with caramel and toffee. Flavor slightly sweet, malt, toffee and a hint of grassy hops. Light bodied, slightly bitter finish.

300ml bottle by the courtesy of Finn. Dense, fawn-coloured head, slowly diminishing over a deep, brown coloured body. Just a few spots of lace. Aroma of herbal hops and bready malts. Caramel sweetness in flavour featuring notes of herbs, minerals and resinous hops to the aftertaste. Alright and not too sweet (Tromsø, 08.09.2012).

Bottle, 33cl @ home. pours dark amber, small head. sweet aroma with toffee and nuts. nutty, malty flavor, quite light palate. high carbonation.

Olut kaatuu lasiin mahongin värisenä muodostaen vaaleaa vaahtoa. Tuoksu on karamellinen ja rukiinen. Maku on leipäinen ja hieman makea. Melko neutraali ja tasapaksu dunkel on kyseessä. Keskihiilihappoinen ja keskirunsas.

Bottle from Alko. Red/brown color, beige head. Sweet, malty taste with coffee, plum, nuts and earthy notes. Pretty light body. Smooth, light finish with a hint of roastiness. Not a very interesting dunkel.

Flaske 0,33l fra Alko Muonio. Drukket i heimen 23 Jul 12. Mørk brun med litt rødskjær. Lavt tett skum. Søt karamellaroma. Lite kullsyre. Smaken er svakt karamellisk men litt kjedelig. Søt vassen ettersmak.

Bottle. Amber, average and fully diminishing light brown head. Moderate, malty and lightly sweetish aroma, some caramel and some bread, light vegetable hoppyness. Body is medium, malty and sweetish flavor, some caramel and some bread. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish, light bread, light sharp metal and light vegetable hoppyness. Lightly sweetish dunkel - not very enjoyable.
