Bardzo dobry Dunkel, w dodatku ekologiczny. Klasyczny i prastary. Piana ladna spora ale średnio trwala. Kolor ciemno bursztynowy, klarowny.

Test vom 7.12.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,11,14,12,9,12 - 12,00

.33L bottle purchased in Bavaria and served in a wine glass in Innsbruck. Pours a clear mahogany with an off-white head that has OK retention but leaves little lacing. The aroma is malty and appealing, with a bit of alcohol and fruit contributing nicely to the appeal. Fine mouthfeel with medium body and carbonation, and a creamy smooth texture. The taste is quite fine, if not quite as complex as one might wish, it is exceptionally nutty and plenty malty. A very easy drinking, unfiltered dunkel beer that is easy to recommend for a tasting, for a meal, or as a session beer. As clainmed: "Monasterial style brewed exclusively of dark barley malt, very malty aromatic, hearty with genuine nutty taste."

Malziger stark schokoladiger, ja vielleicht sogar pralinenartiger Duft.

Bottle 33cl. Inviting dark mahagony colour, appetising off-white small head. Clear filtered. Nose roasted barley malt few hops. Taste reminds of toffee, espresso and raisins. An elegant, well elaborated brew with grainy focus.

UPDATED: JUN 13, 2013 Bottle from Sokos, Helsinki, Finland!
Pours dark copper colored with high, off-white creamy head. Smell has lots of roasted malts and nuts, some chocolate in the background. Starts with delicious roasted malts, paired with chocolate, nuts and some toffee. Middle part has roasted malts, chocolate and toffee. Goes into a sweet malty and caramelly finish with some coffee. Really delicious!

Dark orange brown color, hardly any head. Chocolate. Malty, caramelly aroma. Sweet caramel flavor with coffee. Just a bit watery texture, otherwise a great beer.
