2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Lubiere (6707) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 8, 2012
A hazed reddish amber beer with a thin white head. In aroma, smooth chalky malt with light grassy German hops. In mouth, a smooth caramel malt with maderized, oxidized notes, strong chalkyness, a bit of attenuated hops. Not bad. Bought as Herbsman Bavarian Organic Spezial, brown bottle, MLCC.

STILE PRODUTTORE spezial lager
STILE RATEBEER Zwickel
STILE ANALITICO sweet amber lager
ASPETTO
SCHIUMA: color panna, media presenza e abbastanza compatta, media persistenza
COLORE: oro carico, tendente all’ambrato
AROMA
profumi leggeri, essenzialmente di malto e caramello
SAPORE
centrata sui malti, con sentori tostati e note piuttosto dolci . Si avverte una leggera astringenza di fondo e sul finale vira verso un amaro molto contenuto.
TEXTURE
corpo medio-basso, carbonatazione regolare; acquosa in bocca
COMMENTO FINALE
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 culchiem (848) - Berlin, GERMANY - JUN 30, 2011
Bottle from Ambrosini Berlin. Deep honey yellow with a thin head. Aroma of syrupy malt. Flavour is sweet malt with a sweet cloying finish. Texture is oily syrup
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Koelschtrinker (6544) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUN 21, 2011

0,33 L Bottle. Best before: 11.09.2011.
It pours a hazy orangeish gold with a creamy eggshell colored head.
The smell is earthy and malty. It lacks depth.
The flavor is off. It is super watery with a hint of grain and out-of-nowhere one-dimensional sweetness. Aftertaste of rubber.
I don’t really have an answer to this beer it just sucks basically.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 jgb9348 (3371) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - MAR 16, 2011
Slightly hazy copper coloured body with a glowing amber bit and a thick tan head - soapy looking. Aroma of cardboard, light malt, a touch of caster sugar, yeast and apples - not too much exciting going on here. Light to Medium-bodied; Assertive malt flavours with a touch of raisins and dry hay and wheat. Aftertaste shows a touch of sugar, a lot of malt and a little citrus and dry herbal/earthy notes - not horrible. Overall, a decent beer - not great, but not showing any bad characteristics! I sampled this stubby 33 cL bottle (date 18-June-2011 on bottle) purchased from Ambrosetti in Berlin, Germany on 20-December-2010 sampled on the other side of the pond at home in Washington on 16-March-2011.

Bought in Paris under the Franco-French bannister of "speciale".... boring yellow body, okay head. Weak aroma of cereals and fish, some corn and caramel. Taste is a whole lot of non-alc style cereal and malt mix, watery, tedious. Odd because I"d only drink this if I knew it was non-alcoholic, and in that case it’s too watery.

Bottle. Frothy white good mostly deminishing head. DArk yellow ciolour. Cloudy. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Very metallic. Light sweet and bitter flavor. Syruply. Short light bitter finish. Watery palate. Seems like this wasnt finished-brewed.
