Sep 20, 2005 Cask (gravity dispense), GBBF, August 2005. Mid brown colour. More fruity than malty I’d say. Soft and slightly sweet. Bitterness builds on the finish. Drinks easily for a strong bitter. Perfectly respectable but doesn’t really impose its personality.

Aug 7, 2005 [Cask at GBBF 2005] An amber beer with a fine orange head. The aroma is nutty and slightly roasted. The flavor is somewhat sour with notes of nuts and roasted malt - I don’t like the sourness - is it the hops?
