Commercial Description:
A traditional German wheat beer that is brewed using the finest German hops and weizen yeast. Subtle flavors of clove and banana are produced by the yeast. Goes down smooth.

On tap at the brewpub. very low carbonation, no head. Quite sweet with pronounced banana esters. Cloudy gold in appearance. Strong banana aroma. Extremely smooth palate, drinks fast. UPDATE 9/13/7: This hefe is so tart and sour that it seems a dead ringer for a Berliner weiss now. I really liked it, but it is totally not like a typical german hefe with this flavor.
