Draft at the brewery. Hazy honey gold colored body with a small white head. Very intense and sharp nose, with a ton of crusty, bready, harsh and sharp hops... salty! even. Astringent throughout, harsh, bold, immature, everything wrong that you can do by just throwing in a bunch of hops and hoping that’s how IPA is made... damn... disgusting, I found it difficult to finish half my pint. The palate is shocked and defeated, but this is no epic win for hops, no, this is an epic fail for an inexperienced brewer. Corrosive, nails down the throat is not what you should be going for, and the worst part is that it’s not just the hops, it’s the terribly rough and astringent malting... ugh.
