Commercial Description: The deep reddish brown color and caramel flavor from a rich blend of 6 specialty malts dominate the spice of the Pacific Northwest hops in this sweet malty mixture. Three hop additions boast an extremely rich bittersweet palate. This strong ale is superbly balanced between an almost overpowering maltiness and delightful bittersweet hoppiness.
Tap. A hazy reddish brown color with an off-white head. Strong bitter bite. A festive cherry aroma with a serious hop punch in the flavor. A full body that reminds me of the PCBC Blue Whale Ale. This version was 8.3% abv.
