4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at the brewery. This one of their best beers on tap. Aroma is of danky hops. I asked the bartender and she called the brewmaster to confirm what kind of hops it was made with. Summit, Columbus, and Magnum. Which confirmed my thoughts that there isnít much citrus or fruit in the hops. More earthy tones. I also noticed it is unfiltered, and surprisingly cloudy. Thin white head left little lacing on the glass. Overall a very enjoyable IPA.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured into an English pint glass from a growler from the brewery. Color is a dark amber/light copper. Aroma is slightly sweet with resinous hop notes and a rich character in the background that resembles pipe tobacco. Flavor is slightly earthy with some woody notes towards the start, transitioning into resinous and spruce hop flavors towards the finish. Body is medium with an astringent and dry finish. Overall a decent IPA with a more mild and earthy flavor than many.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sampled at the Bistro IPA fest. Strange name for a beer! It had an aroma of tropical fruit, caramel, and a hint of plastic. The flavor was tropical and citrus fruit with a hint of caramel. Not bad overall.
