Bottle shared by Dr Silverworm. Poured hazy copper color with an average frothy off-white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy spruce, citrus hop and earthy aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture with soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy bittersweet flavor with a moderate to heavy bittersweet finish of medium to long duration. Very good brew.

750ml bottle, shared with tmoney99 and alexsdad06. Completely hazy amber color. Thin off-white head. Spots of lace. Good citrusy, lightly sprucy hop, light caramel malt in the nose. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, soft / crisp lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Biscuity malt flavor, light caramel, light pine and orange citrus, some peppery spice. Moderate bitter taste, some malty sweetness, moderate spicy taste. Solid... Maybe a little softer and more malty than I prefer, but it’s a more biscuity malt than a caramel malt. Nice to try an IPA from France, better than expected, and would satisfy a hop craving if I was in the country. It’s just a bit different than the American IPAs I prefer, though.

33cl bottle (7%), thanks to sebletitje, pours with a hazy copper body that supports a light tan head of foam. The modest aroma offers up some pine hop resin mixing with sweet citrus hard candy. The taste is similar offering up thin ribbons of pine hop resiny notes bleeding into grapefruit and tangerine where it runs from malt sweetened citrus and then back to resiny citrus nuanced pine hops. Pretty nice with a decent load of hops but lacks cohesion and harmony.

BBE 26-09-2014 - Pours dark orange with a smooth white head. Aroma of floral hops, some hints of berries, caramely malts and fruits. Taste is hoppy with hints of floral notes, grass, resin and caramel. Finish is bitter, malty and slightly hoppy. Okay IPA with a nice floral hop profile.

Bottle at home, 16th June 2013. Ok IPA, reminds me of a De Molen interpretation, certainly a French style IPA, prefer other offerings from France right now

Very nice refreshing beer. citrus, orange, hoppy aroma. lightly sour and medium bitterness, drinks away well. Very nice discovery. I thought France was all about Kronenbourg, but i’m getting a lot of ace beers lately from FR!

Superbe IPA !

Bottle 33cl, Noe is intense on fresh hop, luppuline, orange notes. Aroma is on caramel, sweet, bread like, grassy hops, orange touch, grassy and floral, light lemon, bitter hops but not aggressive, caramel background. Finish is bitter with mint and pepper touch, A good ipa on the UK style.

Double IPA like looks, with lasting off white head and light brown glowing body. Rich hop aroma, a well made mix of American hopped tropical fruits and darker forest like ones. Very pleasant caramel malt base underneath. Good mouth feel, not too thin and not too much carbonation. Strong bitterness at first, with only some darker fruit juiciness to balance. I don’t mind this though, as the taste is rich enough to justify that fierce bitterness. So not quite an American style, full ipa body but rather a strongly hopped hopped French interpretation. And that’s fine by me. Tasty. (33cl bottle from Bière Révolution)

Une bonne IPA , Houblon et citron à l’unisson, finale sèche ...très propre !
