Small brown head. Clear deep dark red, barely translucent body, with carbonation. Roasty earthy chocolatey aroma with spicy licorice notes. Dry-sweet grainy earthy roasty taste with resiny mouldy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, fizzy mouthfeel. Dryish burnt earthy licorice aftertaste with spicy chocolatey notes. It’s ok, but too fizzy and earthy. (0.33l bottle, Couleurs de Bieres, Montpellier.)

Bouteille 33cl, BB 06/09/2014, Lot# LX3.

bottle 33cl, a dark amber beer with huge head and good lacing. Nose is on brown malt, caramel and biscuit notes. Aroma is on sweet caramel, dark coffee, brown bread and biscuit notes, fuity yeast on blackcurrant and redcurrant, typical french made porter with intense fruit notes. Correct a bit too sweet, near to brown ale.

Une bien belle Porter Made in France !

erickok (3424) - Tours (and Paris), FRANCE - FEB 12, 2013
Brown bodied with a soapy creamy and stable light tan head. Looks good! Aroma has caramel, hay, spruce, humous and some Belgian yeast. Aroma starts malty, with forest and berries but moves into a dry cacao aftertaste. Although it’s never a thick, sweet or heavy beer, it’s actually quite complex. Great balance between refreshing beery body and deeper, darker accents. Better than I expected! (33cl bottle from Bière Révolution)

Bottle from La Cave à Bulles, Paris; LX2 bb 11/08/2014
Dark brown color; medium sized compact head. Nice aroma of roasted malts, light coffee, some cream. The body is quite thin; the mouthfeel is dry; quite strong flavor of roasted malts, some liquorice and chocolate, light yeast presence; in the final, some wet cardboard; correct bitterness.
Better than others from Pleine Lune, but confused.
